i am who i am.  there’s no denying that.

i was born in The-Middle-of-Amish-Country, Ohio, to a couple of ex-hippies.  my two sometimes annoying little brothers and i grew up in a rural subdivision in a tiny town of 3,000 and had what i consider a normal, suburbia-esque, public school, two-parent-home childhood.  for the most part.

first off, contrary to some of the “older-me” content on this site, i am a Christ-follower and i love Jesus.  i attend church every single week that there is not some crazy catastrophic event in my life (ie, childbirth, inclement weather, etc).  my church is like a second home to me, and everyone there is like my second family; i have never been more at-home and full of the warm fuzzies than i am at Milestone Church.  our pastor is phenomenal, the people are just like you and me (regular, normal, have problems/issues/drama, make mistakes and aren’t afraid to admit it), there’s always something AMAZING happening, and if you show up for Saturday night services there are free snacks and beverages – and according to Pastor Jeff, that’s when all the “holy” people come to church anyway

in the past, i have been referred to as “Little Miss Arts-and-Crafts”, and i can back that statement up with the craft-store sized amount of stickers, paper, and various other asundry items scattered throughout my house.  i also love to write and doodle; if all else fails, at least i’ll have a pad of paper and a pen.  of course, i couldn’t live without my computer, or internet, though.  most of the time you can find me behind the screen of a laptop with my sticky fingers in everything from web design and photoshop to hacking and cracking and pirating.  i got my first computer at age 5, and they’ll pry my last one out of my cold, dead hands.  i’m also a hardcore gamer chick – put a controller in my hands and i can take over any universe.  i also like movies and music and sports and hanging out with my friends…  i guess you could say i’m just like everyone else.  except i’m me.

that being said, some people have accused me of being out-of-control and in-the-wrong because i am who i am, i do what i do and believe in what i believe in, and to those people i say: “get off my website, and stay out of my life.  if you can’t take the heat, then don’t stick your hand in the fire, stupid.”

oh yeah, and i’m very opinionated and don’t have a problem telling YOU what *I* think.  if you know me, you already know this.  and if you don’t like that, you can reference the part of the paragraph above that is reserved explicitly for you.  you know who you are.  don’t try to change the world with your comments, because everybody knows i love a good argument and you. won’t. win.

and that’s exactly why i made this site. i have too many opinions to keep to myself anymore, and i thought, “hey, why not?  i haven’t had a website in a while.”  come here to find my art, my musings, my opinion, and generally anything that relates to me and my world.  who knows, maybe someday my mouth will make me famous. yeah, dad, that’s right, i’m gonna make money off always having the last word (or at least make people think!).  now how do you like them apples? 

so come, be merry and drink of my mind-juices… ew, okay, that’s kinda gross.  peruse the cobwebbed catalog of my mind.  make yourself at home in a comfy chair and come join in the delerium of my day for a moment.  dance and scatter flower petals if you like.  i mean, that’s what *i* usually do.  and never miss an opportunity to take advantage on a windy day.
